Jamel’s Bio

Jamel Delano Brooks was the beloved son of Japheth and Donna Brooks, born on December 2nd, 1993, in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Jamel was described as a curious and creative child; his early education began at the Hemmingay Prep School in Jamaica. The family later migrated to Florida in 2002, where he attended Atlantic West Elementary, William Dandy Middle School, Blanche Ely High, and Coconut Creek High school.

Jamel loved the business world, so after leaving Broward College, where he pursued accounting, he joined his father in the family’s home-care business, where he became part owner. Jamel’s love for business got him a job as a sales representative at Massey Services, where he also enjoyed trading stocks. Not only was he business savvy, but he also had a very healthy lifestyle, was physically active, and encouraged others to live healthier.

One of the best things about Jamel was that he loved to mentor others. Jamel was very active in his church, dedicated to helping the youths and less fortunate. His vision was to start a non-profit organization helping disadvantaged children and communities locally and abroad. In his lifetime, Jamel worked tirelessly to instill in the youth of all ages the importance of hard work and education.

He was a student, a Deacon, a role model, and an inspiration to all who knew him. His passion for life was unmatched. He lived his life with class, dignity, and respect. He made a significant impact in many ways, and his work with youth will not be forgotten soon. As he lived his life, so we will remember him.
His vision is now a reality, as we are executing Jamel Delano Brooks’ lifelong dream of empowering youths of diverse backgrounds to be the best they can be, to live a happy and successful life through education, mentorship, donations, and training.
