Through the Jamel Delano Brooks Foundation, Mr. Brooks has returned to his roots, not just with fond memories but with tangible support aimed at uplifting today’s students.
One of the school’s most meaningful initiatives is its breakfast program, created to ensure no child begins their school day hungry. Recognizing the critical connection between proper nutrition and academic success, the school launched this program as part of its commitment to student well-being.
Thanks to a recent donation of $300 USD from the Jamel Delano Brooks Foundation, the program has received vital support for supplies and staffing. The funds are being used to purchase breakfast products and to help compensate the school’s cook, ensuring that the program remains sustainable and impactful.
